Iowa High School Baseball - Ottumwa nipped by Southeast Polk

The Southeast Polk Rams held off the visiting Ottumwa Bulldogs baseball team by a margin of 8-7 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Rams (24-16) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 7-19 record. In their last battle, Gilbert was tipped by Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, July 12. Ottumwa will attempt to improve on its 29-10 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 13-18 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA).
