The Schley County Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Perry Panthers to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Schley County moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Westfield School (Perry, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 16. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 3-0. Westfield School won 6-0 in their recent non-league game against Bleckley County (Cochran, GA)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 16. Perry will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Warhawks come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Peach County (Fort Valley, GA).
