The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) and the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), saw Franklin County's volleyball squad beat Commerce by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Johnson (Gainesville, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 15. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 12. Commerce will play a Dragons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-0.
