The Lake Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Pelahatchie Chiefs to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stringer for a non-league game on Friday, August 11. Lake will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mize (Mize, MS). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-0.
The Chiefs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Morton (Morton, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Morton gained a win over Scott Central (Forest, MS), 3-2, in a non-league game.
