The Lake Hornets topped the host Pelahatchie Chiefs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Choctaw Central for a non-league test on Thursday, August 24. Lake will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
The Chiefs (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Morton (Morton, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Morton was knocked off by Meridian (Meridian, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
