The Brookwood Warriors triumphed over the host Brooks County Trojans softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 15. Brookwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA).

The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A D-II Region 2 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lanier County overcame Tift County (Tifton, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
