In Tuesday's non-league test, the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brookwood Warriors (Thomasville, GA), by a tally of 11-6.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 test, on Thursday, September 5. Brooks County will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 0-7 record after their 19-0 league loss to Charlton County (Folkston, GA).

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Knights go into the GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 3 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Deerfield-Windsor was routed by Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
