Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Leander Lions (Leander, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Vandegrift upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Westlake (Austin, TX) to meet the Chaparrals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 12. The Chaparrals come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Lions meet the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 12. Leander will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
