In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Central Chargers volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Howard Huskies .

With the win, Central advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA) to face the Gryphons in a 1A Area 2 test on Tuesday, August 19. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.

Next, the Huskies play the Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cherokees come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA).
