Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) and the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), observed Central's volleyball team hold off Howard by a count of 2-1.

The Chargers (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles go into the non-league battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Westside was edged by Jasper County (Monticello, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
