The Murphy Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Rosman Tigers to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge Early College for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Murphy will play a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Rosman falls to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers host Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC) to confront the Bears in a game on Thursday, August 14. The Bears enter the game with a record of 0-1. Summit Charter lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Andrews (Andrews, NC)
