In Tuesday's non-league match, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 15. West Stanly will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Parkwood notched a victory over South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 3-2, in a non-league match.
