The Augusta Panthers volleyball team (Augusta, KY), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY)

The Thorobreds (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 38 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Pendleton County defeated Mason County (Maysville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 16. Augusta will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Black Devils come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY).
