Kentucky High School Volleyball - Edmonson County Metcalfe County

The Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.

The Hornets now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barren County for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 15. Metcalfe County will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears enter the District 12 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Butler County gained a win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
