Kentucky High School Volleyball - Edmonson County over Metcalfe County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) and the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), saw Edmonson County's volleyball squad beat Metcalfe County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Edmonson County upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

The Hornets now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland County for a District 16 bout on Thursday, September 7. Metcalfe County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
