With the win, Hoke County improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bucks travel to Red Springs (Red Springs, NC) to face the Red Devils in a non-league test on Monday, August 19. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Golden Bulls now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. E.E. Smith will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
