In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hoke County Bucks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls.

The Bucks (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Pauls beat South View (Hope Mills, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Bulls play the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. E.E. Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
