The Booker T. Washington Hornets nipped the visiting Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats softball team by a margin of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Hornets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inola for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. Booker T. Washington will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 14-3 league win over Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-1.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris (Morris, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Morris held off Okemah (Okemah, OK), 4-1, in a non-league challenge.
