Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Booker T. Washington Hornets (Tulsa, OK), 3-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Chouteau-Mazie upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Mounds (Mounds, OK) to play the Golden Eagles in a 2A game on Saturday, August 16. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-3.
The Hornets now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Beggs for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Booker T. Washington will play a Demons squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Demons record now stands at 6-0.
