The Colquitt County Packers softball squad (Norman Park, GA), was routed 10-7 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA)

With the triumph, Thomas County Central improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Northside (Warner Robins, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Northside won 23-0 in their recent non-league bout against Howard (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Packers face the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 16. Colquitt County will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 5-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Woodland (Stockbridge, GA).
