Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek succumbs to LaGrange

August 14, 2025: Tyrone, GA 30290

In Thursday's league test, the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), by a tally of 20-3.

Next, the Grangers meet the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 16. LaGrange will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 3-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Spalding (Griffin, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, August 19. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-0. Spalding won 7-5 in their recent league test against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
