North Carolina High School Volleyball - Anson over Montgomery Central

The Anson Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Stanly for a Rocky River 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, August 19.

With the loss, Montgomery Central drops to 1-2 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to confront the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the game with a record of 1-2.
