The Anson Bearcats topped the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Bearcats now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host West Stanly for a Rocky River 4A/5A outing on Thursday, September 11. Anson will play a Colts team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Colts record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Montgomery Central drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Lexington Senior (Lexington, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a PAC Seven 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 5-2.
