With the win, Cook advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-1.

The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baker County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. Westover will play a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Calhoun County (Edison, GA). The Bears record now stands at 1-3.
