Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the visiting Westover Patriots (Albany, GA), saw Cook's volleyball squad notch a victory over Westover by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Cook improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hornets host Brantley County (Nahunta, GA) to encounter the Herons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Herons go into the test with a record of 8-13.
The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mitchell County for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8.
