In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Liberty County Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers.

The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Bluejackets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Savannah beat Beach (Savannah, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
