The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers volleyball squad (Darien, GA), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA)

With the win, Liberty County improves its record to 11-10 on the season. The Panthers host Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 6-20. Tattnall County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Wayne County (Jesup, GA)

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) in a 1A Area 3 contest, on Thursday, September 18. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Bluejackets enter the contest with a 5-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA).
