In their next game, the Rebels play the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 contest, on Thursday, August 17. Atkinson County will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Brantley County (Nahunta, GA).
