Kentucky High School Volleyball - Barren County edged by Metcalfe County

The Metcalfe County Hornets held off the visiting Barren County Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell County for a District 16 test on Thursday, August 17.

The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Caverna was nudged by Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
