Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County edged by Barren County

September 19, 2023: Glasgow, KY 42141

The Barren County Trojans held off the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glasgow for a District 15 test on Thursday, September 21. Barren County will confront a Scotties team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 7-11.

The Hornets (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league test with a 1-16 record. In their last test, Caverna was nudged by Hart County (Munfordville, KY), 3-0, in a league test.
