The Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) volleyball overcame the visiting Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mantachie upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS) to play the Hawks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 22. The Hawks go into the outing with a record of 5-4.

The Panthers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut for a Class 2 Region 2 outing on Friday, August 18. Pine Grove will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
