In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mantachie Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pine Grove Panthers.
The Mustangs (17-0) will now prepare for their battle against Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Cardinals come into the Class 2 Region 1 battle with a 27-8 record. In their last battle, Belmont defeated Booneville (Booneville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 28. Pine Grove will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Byers (Holly Springs, MS).
