Mississippi High School Volleyball - South Panola edged by Pontotoc

The Pontotoc Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host South Panola Tigers to 2 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Albany for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Pontotoc will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Center Hill was nudged by Lafayette (Oxford, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
