In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Pontotoc Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South Panola Tigers.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Heritage Academy went down by Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 26. South Panola will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 17-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS).
