The Dickson Comets softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Marietta Indians to 0 in the Comets non-league win on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Comanche for a non-league battle on Monday, August 18. Dickson will confront a Indians team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Alex (Alex, OK). The Indians record now stands at 2-4.

The Indians (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindsay (Lindsay, OK). The Leopards enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Lindsay overcame Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
