Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) fans exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their softball team run past the host Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), 17-0 in a non-league match.
The Comets (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Durant (Durant, OK). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Durant was routed by Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK), 5-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Comanche Indians (Comanche, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Marietta will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record.
