Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX) and the host Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX), observed Waxahachie's volleyball team top Arlington by a tally of 2-0.

The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Memorial achieved victory over Guyer (Denton, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Colts now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Arlington will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
