Texas High School Volleyball - Flour Bluff over Covenant

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Covenant Knights (Dallas, TX), observed Flour Bluff's volleyball team top Covenant by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Flour Bluff improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Fort Bend Christian Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Goliad (Goliad, TX)

The Knights now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Brook for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Covenant will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-5.
