The Weimar Wildcats volleyball squad (Weimar, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX)

With the win, Schulenburg improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Shorthorns travel to Victoria West (Victoria, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Victoria West won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sealy (Sealy, TX)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Weimar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Shiner (Shiner, TX).
