The Union Spartans volleyball team (Rose Hill, NC), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC)

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Pender defeated Laney (Wilmington, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 18. Union will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
