The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs held off the host Union Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pender for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 24. Wallace-Rose Hill will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Pender held off Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
