The Mavericks now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league game on Friday, August 19. Winn will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.

The Toros (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Laredo LBJ gained a win over Highlands (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
