In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Alleghany Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Surry Central Golden Eagles.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, North Surry was knocked off by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Mount Airy was knocked off by East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
