The Alleghany Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Surry Central Golden Eagles to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Wilkes for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 26. Alleghany will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-10.
The Golden Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Wilkes Central was nudged by North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
