The North Buncombe Black Hawks volleyball team (Weaverville, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC)

The Warhorses (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Enka was outscored by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

The Black Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22.
