The Owen Warhorses volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host North Buncombe Black Hawks to 1 in the Warhorses non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warhorses now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Draughn for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Owen will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
The Black Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their game against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, A.C. Reynolds nipped Polk County (Columbus, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
