Fans at Saturday's league battle between the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) and the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), saw North Laurel's soccer squad triumph over Whitley County by a count of 9-1.

The Jaguars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.

The Colonels now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlan County for a non-league test on Monday, August 18. Whitley County will clash with a Black Bears team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 1-0.
