The North Laurel Jaguars triumphed over the visiting Whitley County Colonels soccer squad by a score of 9-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. North Laurel will play a Patriots squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Whitley County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to face the Black Bears in a non-league game on Monday, August 18. The Black Bears come into the game with a record of 1-0. Harlan County won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
