Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) followers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Conroe beat Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles (Bryan, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. New Waverly will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Still Creek Christian (Bryan, TX).
