The Crean Lutheran Saints nudged the host Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Saints now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Crean Lutheran will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Sage Hill drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Portola (Irvine, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
